Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in machine maintenance or equipment troubleshooting.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing or production is an advantage.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and basic troubleshooting.
• Able to use common maintenance tools and equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and practical, solutions-oriented approach.
• Able to assess problems, determine causes and actions.
• Willing to train and share knowledge with others.
• Proactive and able to suggest improvements.
• Can work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of production machines and equipment.

• Respond to machine breakdowns and restore equipment quickly and safely.
• Monitor machine condition and identify potential problems before downtime.
• Conduct inspections, adjustments, repairs, and replacement of components as needed.
• Operate machines and assist in jig production using acrylic, wood or other materials.
• Assist in machine installation, setup, modification, and improvement when required.
• Recommend practical improvements to improve machine reliability, safety, and production efficiency.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and machine issues.
• Coordinate with production personnel to address machine-related concerns.

About the role

The Machine Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and helps prevent machine-related downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of production machines and equipment.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and other machine-related problems.

• Respond to machine breakdowns and work to restore equipment to normal operation as quickly and safely as possible.

• Monitor machine condition and identify potential problems before they result in production downtime.

• Conduct basic inspections, adjustments, repairs, and replacement of machine components as needed.

• Operate machines, design and produce jigs with acrylic, wood or other materials.

• Assist in machine installation, setup, modification, and improvement when required.

• Recommend practical solutions and improvements to improve machine reliability, safety, and production efficiency.

• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and machine issues.

• Coordinate with production personnel to understand and address machine-related concerns.

About you
