Glades International Corporation is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician in Laguna, Santa Rosa to perform scheduled maintenance, inspect machinery, and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime. You will follow maintenance plans, use CMMS records, and support reliability improvements.

About the role
The Preventive Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of machinery, equipment, utilities, and facility systems. The position ensures equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently while minimizing breakdowns and unplanned downtime.
Key responsibilities
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities according to established maintenance plans and schedules.
Inspect machinery and equipment to identify signs of wear, damage, abnormal operation, or potential failure.
Conduct routine lubrication, cleaning, adjustment, alignment, calibration, and replacement of worn components.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other equipment-related problems.
Perform corrective maintenance and minor repairs when defects are identified during preventive maintenance inspections.
Follow preventive maintenance checklists, procedures, equipment manuals, and safety requirements.
Record completed maintenance activities, findings, measurements, parts used, and equipment conditions in the CMMS or maintenance records.
Report equipment abnormalities and recommend corrective actions to the Maintenance Supervisor or Engineer.
Assist in identifying recurring equipment failures and support root cause analysis and reliability improvement activities.
Ensure tools, spare parts, consumables, and equipment required for maintenance activities are properly used and maintained.
About you
Technical diploma, vocational certificate, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
At least 1–3 years of experience in preventive maintenance or industrial equipment maintenance.
Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Ability to read equipment manuals, technical drawings, electrical diagrams, and maintenance instructions.
Familiarity with pumps, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, compressors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, or similar industrial equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good mechanical and/or electrical aptitude.
Ability to follow maintenance schedules and technical procedures.
Good attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
