Job summary

Mandarin Oriental Makati invites a Steward to join our pre-opening team in Manila, supporting daily stewarding operations to ensure top hygiene and efficiency across kitchens. The role covers pre-opening setup, dishwashing, sanitation, waste control, stock management and safety compliance; you will work with culinary and F&B colleagues to deliver luxury service.

Experience in luxury hotels is preferred; flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stewarding, kitchen operations, or a similar role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices.
• Experience in a luxury hotel or hospitality environment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and organization of stewarding areas.
• Perform dishwashing, cleaning, and sanitation of kitchen equipment and areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across all kitchens and back-of-house facilities.
