Job summary

Offshore Business Processing in Alabang seeks an experienced Airfreight Operations Specialist to manage time-critical shipments, especially AOG/aerospace, and support customers to keep operations moving.

You will coordinate end-to-end shipments, monitor progress, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure compliance with international regulations. A 24/7 shift model, HMO on day 1, and signing bonuses welcome dedicated professionals.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years in airfreight with international forwarding operations.
• Expert knowledge of international air transport regulations including Incoterms and customs.
• Experience with time-critical operations, especially AOG/aerospace shipments.
• Proven leadership and coordination skills for frontline AOG operations.
• Strong discipline, attention to detail, and decisive problem solving.
• Business-level English; additional languages is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for client Escalation.
• Strict adherence to Quality, Hygiene and Safety standards.
• Willingness to work 24/7/365 shift-based operations including holidays; Alabang site.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end AOG shipments, including spot quotations and customer coordination.
• Monitor shipments, manage deviations, and provide timely updates across client systems.
• Maintain constant communication with all parties and manage dispute cases.
• Negotiate with suppliers and ensure SOP compliance.
• Oversee the activity and supervise frontline AOG operations.

Responsibilities

Customer Relation Key Outcomes:

• Answer & handle customer AOG requests
• Advise the customer on potential restrictions (Weather/Geo-Political/Trade Compliance/etc…)
• Find suitable solutions for customer requests
• Contribute to cost optimization while maintaining high levels of operational quality and customer satisfaction
• Resolve operational issues promptly
• Adhere to client-specific operational procedures (SOP)
• Negotiate with suppliers

Operational Key Outcomes:

• Manage end-to-end AOG shipments, including spot quotations, customer coordination, and end-to-end shipment processing
• Monitor shipments proactively, manage deviations, and provide timely updates to ensure visibility across client’s systems
• Maintain constant communication with all parties involved

Requirements

• 3-4 years’ experience in airfreight, with strong exposure to international freight forwarding operations - both export and import
• Expert-level knowledge of international air transport regulations, including Incoterms, customs rules, and compliance requirements
• Full mastery of the specificities of time-critical operations, particularly in AOG/Aerospace shipments
• Proven managerial and coordination skills, with the ability to lead, guide, and support front-line AOG operations
• Strong sense of responsibility, rigor, attention to details, and discipline in decision-making and issue resolution
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset, enabling effective coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders
• High stress resistance, with the ability to remain effective in escalated and time-sensitive situations
• Business-level English proficiency (spoken, written, and reading). Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, suitable for client escalation management
• Strong customer service orientation (internal and external), consistently projecting a positive and professional brand image
• Strict adherence to procedures, service organization, schedules, break times, and holidays
• Consistent compliance with company Quality, Hygiene, and Safety standards
• High organizational capability, with demonstrated reactivity and proactivity in operational execution
• Working knowledge of relevant computer and operational tools.
• Availability for 24/7/365 shift-based operations, including public holidays, in line with AOG service requirements
