Job summary

Maersk Philippines is offering a Logistics Intern role to support day-to-day lead logistics activities while gaining practical exposure to supply chain operations, customer experience, documentation, and data analysis under a Team Leader or Manager.

You will prepare, check, and maintain shipment and operational documentation, update trackers and reports, coordinate routine follow-ups, and contribute ideas to improve service delivery and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing, or recently completed, a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Organised with attention to detail and able to meet deadlines.
• Minimum 500 hours of internship required.
• Basic knowledge of logistics or supply chain concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day lead logistics activities and contribute to service delivery.
• Prepare, check, and maintain shipment, customer, and operational documentation.
• Update trackers, reports, and system records.
• Coordinate routine follow-ups with internal teams and customers.
• Follow SOPs, internal controls, data privacy requirements, and Maersk policies.
• Escalate exceptions or risks to the supervisor.
• Participate in team meetings and process-improvement activities.
• Complete other internship tasks as assigned.
