Job summary

Spinneys Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented Freight & Clearing Administrator to coordinate imports, freight movements, customs clearance, and delivery schedules to ensure products are efficiently received and available across our stores.

You will work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, brokers, warehouses, and internal teams to support uninterrupted supply chain operations, maintain shipping records, monitor costs, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–3 years' experience in freight forwarding, customs clearing, logistics, or import/export administration.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ERP/inventory systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor incoming shipments from suppliers to warehouse destinations.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, shipping lines, and regulatory authorities.
• Prepare, review, and maintain all import and clearing documentation.
• Track shipment progress and ensure timely customs clearance and delivery.
• Verify freight, duty, customs, and clearing invoices for accuracy.
• Resolve shipment delays, documentation issues, and clearance discrepancies.
• Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams regarding delivery schedules and stock arrivals.
• Maintain accurate records of shipping documents and logistics transactions.
• Monitor logistics costs and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, import requirements, and company policies.
