Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receive and acknowledge shipments from Customer Service.
• Check completeness of Shipping Instructions from CS Team.
• Document shipment status and prepare pre-alerts.
• Coordinate with Agents for import documents (HBL, MBL, invoice, packing list, Form E).
• Verify accuracy of documents and secure draft HBL approval.
• Send pre-alert to Consignee/Broker; prepare draft manifests.
• Monitor arrival and customs clearance with the broker.

About the role

The Logistics Assistant shall execute operations for PXL, managing shipment workflows from receipt through final delivery. This role involves coordinating with multiple teams and external partners to ensure smooth import and export processes.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and acknowledge awarded shipments from the Customer Service team
• Check completeness of Shipping Instructions provided by CS Team
• Accomplish shipment status documentation
• Communicate with Agents for preparation of import shipping documents (HBL, MBL, invoice, packing list, Form E if any)
• Check comprehensiveness and accuracy of import documents received from AgentsSecure final approval of draft HBL from consignee or appointed Broker
• Send pre-alert to Consignee/Broker
• Prepare draft manifest to preferred VASP such as CDEC, Interco and E-Konek in the absence of Manifest-In-Charge
• Monitor shipment arrival and customs clearance status with PXL accredited Customs Broker
• Prepare turnover documents such as DO and container guarantee

About you

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, and Operations with background on handling ocean and air import processes
• Adept understanding of Importation and Exportation documentation and process including local services such as Customs Brokerage and Trucking
• Professional level skill on Microsoft Applications and carrier booking platforms
• Professional level understanding of shipment INCOTERMS
• Knowledgeable in Air and Sea logistics
• Knowledgeable in Import and Export processes
• Willing to work in Multinational Paranaque
• Available Monday to Friday
