COMMSEC INC. is seeking a Logistics Specialist to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, track deliveries, and liaise with 3PLs and vendors. The role focuses on inventory control, data accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
Ideal candidates will have 2–4 years in logistics or warehousing, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP/WMS systems. Onsite work in Metro Manila is required, with occasional field operations as needed.
The Logistics Specialist is responsible for coordinating and executing the logistics and supply-chain operations of the company to ensure goods and materials are delivered on time, stored properly, and handled efficiently. This role covers inventory control, shipment coordination, vendor/3PL management, data & reporting, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including scheduling transport, tracking delivery status, and communicating with carriers, suppliers, internal stakeholders.
Monitor and maintain inventory levels, perform reconciliations between physical stock and system records (ERP/WMS) and identify discrepancies.
Work with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and vendors to ensure service level agreements are met, coordinate logistics activities and improve efficiency.
Manage documentation and logistics data: shipping instructions, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, invoices, etc.
Analyze logistics performance (delivery lead time, cost per shipment, inventory turnover, etc.) and propose process improvements to reduce cost, increase speed and accuracy.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, import/export laws (where applicable) and internal policies.
Liaise with other internal departments (procurement, warehouse/operations, finance/accounting) to ensure smooth supply-chain flow and to support business needs.
Conduct or support physical inventory counts (cycle counts, annual counts), prepare reports, and follow up on variances.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Typically 2-4 years of relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory control or with a 3PL environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with ERP/WMS systems is a plus.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and logistics metrics and ability to identify improvement opportunities.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to work with internal teams and external vendors/3PLs.
Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills; must be detail-oriented.
Flexible and willing to work onsite, occasionally in warehouse or field operations, depending on the role.
Must be a Licensed Customs Broker
Willing to be assigned in BGC, Taguig Office
