Job summary

Fujitrans Logistics Philippines, Inc. in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, is seeking an Import/Export Coordinator to manage bookings and document preparation for shipments.

You will advise clients on shipping requirements, select cost-effective routes, and ensure compliance with customs and PEZA procedures. The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and ability to work with carriers and brokers to meet client timelines.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/College Degree in BS Customs Administration.
  • Graduate of Customs Administration is a plus.
  • Work experience in Import, Export and/or Customs Brokerage in a Freight Forwarder/Logistics Company is a plus.
  • Must be knowledgeable in basic cargo handling & cutting of Bill of Lading.
  • Knowledge in Customs, PEZA processes, procedures and terminologies; and Electronic Manifest.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office and web-based software.
  • Good Communication and Negotiation Skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willing to be assigned in Sta. Rosa City from Mondays to Saturdays.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and arrange import/export bookings.
  • Advise proper shipping requirements of clients with carriers and overseas agents via phone and email.
  • Select shipment routes and carriers with lower cost based on destination, goods, transit time and delivery schedule.
  • Prepare documents for Export Shipment such as Bill of Lading, Packing List, dock receipt and Certificate of Origin.
  • Create import and export documentation with attention to detail.
  • Ensure compliance with Bureau of Customs, PEZA and Shipping Lines per SOPs.
  • Coordinate with customs brokers to facilitate passage of goods.
  • Provide detailed Port information to importers/exporters.
  • Notify clients/agents of delays or routing changes.
  • Provide timely responses to customer queries and requests.
  • Handle billing and cost entry to close files promptly.
  • Other general duties as directed by superiors.

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Select shipment routes and carrier with lower cost based on the final destination of shipment, nature of goods shipped, transit time and required delivery schedule of client.
  • Prepare documents for Export Shipment such as Bill of Lading, Packing List, dock receipt and Certificate of Origin
  • Create import and export documentation with a high attention to detail.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with the Bureau of Customs, PEZA and Shipping Lines
  • Make arrangements with customs brokers to facilitate the passage of goods through Customs
  • Provide detailed Port information to importers and exporters
  • Provide accurate information, notification to agents and clients of Inbound and Outbound shipments
  • Notify clients and agents of delays or changes to the routing of their freight
  • Provide timely and accurate response/s to all customers queries and request
  • Will be required to do billing and cost entry to insure that files are closed as quickly as possible
  • Other general affairs as indicated by superiors
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in BS Customs Administration
  • Graduate of Customs Administration is a plus
