Responsibilities
The Brokerage Coordinator is responsible for managing end-to-end shipment coordination for both sea and air freight in accordance with client requirements. This includes preparing reports, obtaining and verifying shipping documents, monitoring shipment progress, and ensuring accurate and complete billing documentation. The role also involves close coordination with operations, shippers, consignees, and other logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and service quality.
- Prepare report according to client requirements
- Handle booking for both Sea and Air
- Obtain commercial invoices, packing list and other shipping documents from other forwarders and carriers
- Coordinate pick up and delivery from operations, shipper and consignee (door to door)
- Monitor shipment from loading, transport, clearance and delivery to consignee's designated delivery place
- Assist in handling and resolving claims
- Update status of shipment daily/weekly/monthly as required by client
- Ensure billings are complete with attachments (POD, Original receipts, customs documents etc.)
Requirements
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience Level: Fresh Graduate/Student (0-1 year).
