Responsibilities:

• Overseeing the clearance of goods through customs, including the preparation and submission of all necessary documentation
• Acting as the direct point of contact between clients and customs authorities to facilitate import and export processes
• Staying up-to-date with the latest customs regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements to ensure compliance
• Providing expert guidance and advice to clients on customs-related matters
• Liaising with shipping, transportation, and logistics providers to coordinate the timely delivery of goods
• Maintaining detailed records and generating reports on customs activities
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing efficient customs clearance strategies

Qualifications:

• A valid Licensed Custom Broker certification
• At least 2 years of experience working as a Licensed Custom Broker, preferably within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry
• Excellent knowledge of customs regulations, procedures, and documentation requirements
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively liaise with clients, customs authorities, and other stakeholders
• Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to handle complex customs-related issues
• Proficient in using relevant customs clearance software and technology
• A proven track record of delivering high-quality, efficient customs clearance services
