The Legal Staff will provide support to the Legal Department by assisting in the preparation of legal documents, managing legal files, conducting legal research, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The position is crucial in supporting the organization's legal needs and facilitating effective legal risk management.
Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as contracts, agreements, memorandums, and other legal correspondence
Assist in the preparation of pleadings, motions, affidavits, and other court-related documents
Conduct thorough legal research on various laws, rulings, and regulations relevant to the company's operations
Maintain and organize legal files, records, and documents systematically to ensure easy access and retrieval
Assist in managing case files, ensuring all necessary documents and evidence are properly documented and filed
Monitor changes in local, national, and international laws and regulations that could impact the company
Assist in ensuring the company's compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to labor laws, corporate governance, and industry-specific regulations
Coordinate with external legal counsel, law firms, and regulatory bodies as needed
Act as a liaison between the Legal Department and other departments within the company to ensure clear communication and legal compliance
Assist in scheduling and preparing for meetings, hearings, and court proceedings
Bachelor's Degree in Legal Management, Political Science, Law, or related fields
1-2 years of experience
Understanding of Philippine laws, legal systems, legal documentation, and corporate governance
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Must maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive legal information
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments
