Job summary

Gaisano Brothers Merchandising, Inc. is seeking a Leasing Assistant to support the Leasing Department in managing tenant requirements and coordinating with prospective and existing tenants.

You will help with leases, renewals, site inspections, and store openings while maintaining accurate leasing records. The role involves preparing reports and coordinating with multiple mall departments to resolve tenant concerns and ensure compliance with mall policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience in leasing, property management, sales, or customer service is advantageous.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service abilities.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and coordinating with prospective tenants.

• Monitor available spaces, tenant occupancy, and leasing status.
• Coordinate tenant requirements, site inspections, fit-out schedules, and store openings.
• Prepare leasing reports, presentations, letters, and other documents while maintaining tenant files.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Engineering, Security, and other departments on tenant concerns.
• Assist in monitoring tenant compliance with mall policies and lease requirements through site visits.
• Perform other administrative and leasing-related tasks as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and coordinating with prospective tenants.

• Prepare leasing reports, presentations, letters, and other documents while maintaining updated tenant files, contracts, and leasing records.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Engineering, Security, and other departments regarding tenant concerns.
• Assist in monitoring tenant compliance with mall policies and lease requirements through regular tenant and site visits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year college course, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Previous experience in leasing, property management, sales, or customer service is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, computer literate, and able to work effectively with tenants and cross-functional mall departments.
