Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Australian mortgage broking industry in credit assessment, loan processing, or senior broker support.
• Minimum 1 year of direct people management experience, with a genuine willingness to mentor and develop team members.
• Strong technical depth in non-standard income, credit scoring, LVR boundaries, and lender policy interpretation.
• Advanced proficiency across Connective Mercury, Quickli, AOL, and bank portals.
• Exceptional written communication and attention to detail in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with brokers, the VA team, lenders, and compliance bodies as required.
• Perform detailed credit assessments, serviceability modeling, and verify documents.
• Lead loan packaging, ensure compliance with licensing standards and lender guides.
• Review AOL data, resolve submission issues, and protect turnaround times.
• Manage CRM/workflow, keep pipeline accurate, flag risks to brokers.
