Job summary

D2B in Australia is seeking a diligent Broker Assistant to take ownership of loan files from handover to settlement, handling documentation, lender submissions, and day-to-day admin so the Principal can stay focused on client conversations and growing the business. The initial focus is residential lending, with potential expansion to SMSF lending; commercial lending is out of scope for onboarding.

You will work with Connective, Nexus Mercury, and AOL, managing files end-to-end and maintaining

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Connective, Nexus Mercury and AOL.
• Solid understanding of Australian residential mortgage process.
• Detail-oriented with ability to identify missing information.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple files.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end residential loan files from handover through to settlement.
• Collect, review, and upload client documentation on time.
• Prepare and submit loan applications via AOL.
• Track application progress, chase outstanding conditions, and move files toward settlement.
• Communicate proactively with clients, lenders, and stakeholders to resolve issues before blockers.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records within Mercury and Connective.
• Support SMSF loan processing and documentation when residential workflow is established.
• Assist the Principal in reactivating and re-engaging existing SMSF clients.
