Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health Global Business Services – Manila is seeking a Team Lead for Hospital Workforce Scheduling to lead a centralized scheduling team across clinical and operational areas. You will drive staffing efficiency, ensure schedule accuracy and maintain coverage aligned with policies and needs.

You will engage with U.S. teams in a Global Business Services setting, mentoring staff, optimizing processes, and delivering timely workforce reporting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years using staffing, scheduling or workforce management software in a 24/7 healthcare environment.
• 3+ years in a lead, team leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience managing workforce schedules and staffing coverage.
• Experience with multiple stakeholders in fast-paced healthcare/shared services.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of workforce scheduling specialists in a centralized function.
• Supervise, coach and mentor team members, promoting accountability and collaboration.
• Monitor performance and address service, productivity and quality opportunities.
• Ensure schedules are accurate and timely to support coverage requirements.
• Optimize staffing schedules while maintaining skill mix and utilization.
• Oversee schedule balancing and validation before publication.
• Manage schedule maintenance and coverage adjustments in workforce systems.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to identify staffing gaps and planning needs.
• Ensure compliance with scheduling guidelines and workforce policies.
• Serve as escalation point for scheduling inquiries and issues.
• Support premium pay programs, incentives and reporting requirements.
• Monitor KPIs and service level metrics to drive efficiency.
• Generate workforce reports to identify trends and risks.
• Partner with leaders to deliver exceptional service and support.
• Maintain workforce records and scheduling documentation.
• Drive continuous process improvement to enhance scheduling efficiency.
