Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health Global Business Services – Manila is looking for a Manager, Workforce Optimization to lead centralized staffing, scheduling and workforce planning for U.S. healthcare services.

This role drives labor efficiency, data-driven decisions and cross-functional collaboration with clinical, operational, human resources and finance leaders. The position emphasizes performance management, process improvements, and alignment of staffing with business needs while maintaining service

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in workforce management, staffing operations, scheduling operations, healthcare operations, BPO or shared services.
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing operational teams.
• Experience in hospital or healthcare operations preferred.
• Knowledge of workforce planning methodologies and forecasting.
• Experience managing workforce management technologies and scheduling platforms preferred.
• Strong analytical, stakeholder management and process improvement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead centralized staffing, workforce planning and scheduling operations supporting healthcare services.
• Establish goals, service standards and performance expectations.
• Monitor productivity, quality and service delivery metrics.
• Provide leadership, coaching and development for scheduling teams.
• Ensure consistent execution of staffing processes across operations.
• Develop workforce optimization strategies and improve labor utilization.
• Manage staffing allocation, scheduling workflows and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with leaders on forecasting and labor management.
• Analyze trends to identify risks and improvements.
• Support enterprise-wide workforce planning and centralized programs.
• Establish KPIs, SLAs and benchmarks; analyze reports for productivity.
• Drive accountability for targets; present insights to leadership.
• Lead process improvements; promote best practices across teams.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, HR and finance leaders.
