MOVE Your Business is seeking a dependable Bookkeeper to join our Canadian/U.S. law-firm client representation. The role focuses on trust and general bookkeeping, including client ledgers, reconciliations, and reporting, with exposure to Canadian payroll and compliance duties.

The position is remote with Eastern Time working hours, offering CAD1200–1300 base pay per month plus CAD70 allowance, and a supportive environment that values accuracy, discretion, and integrity in financial management.

Qualifications

• Proven bookkeeping experience in a Canadian or U.S. law firm.
• Hands-on trust accounting including client-ledger reconciliations.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online preferred).
• Experience with Canadian payroll, deductions, remittances, and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and integrity in handling confidential information.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work remotely with reliable internet.
• Two professional references and a recent criminal background check.

Responsabilités

• Maintain client trust accounts and general ledgers with accuracy.
• Perform monthly trust reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare client invoices and apply receipts.
• Manage Canadian payroll processing and remittances.
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with law-firm procedures and privacy.
• Coordinate with management and external accountants.
• Support audits and tax preparation as needed.
