MOVE Your Business is hiring a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support Geraci LLP, a U.S. law firm, remotely. The role focuses on general bookkeeping, legal accounting, payroll via Gusto, and financial reporting, with emphasis on accuracy and confidentiality.

Requirements include 3+ years of U.S. bookkeeping in a law firm setting and proficiency with Clio, QuickBooks, and Gusto. Full-time, remote work with competitive salary and benefits for a growing outsourcing provider.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience using U.S. accounting practices at an American law firm.
• Experience with Clio, QuickBooks, and Gusto.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, general ledger, financial reporting, and payroll accounting.

Responsibilities

• General bookkeeping: maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records; record and classify daily transactions; reconcile accounts; monitor cash flow.
• Accounts payable & receivable: process invoices, follow up on balances, prepare client invoices, assist with collections, reconcile payments.
• Legal accounting: use Clio for billing records and coordinate with attorneys; ensure accuracy with QuickBooks; maintain compliance with legal controls.
• Payroll support: process and reconcile payroll via Gusto; review payroll reports; coordinate reimbursements.
• Financial reporting: prepare monthly bookkeeping reports; assist external accountants with tax prep and audits.
