Job summary

Home Credit Philippines is seeking a Late Collections Analyst I to support collections strategies by generating, deploying, and evaluating pilot and strategy changes using database insights. You will handle ad-hoc investigations and longer-term pilots to improve recovery performance.

You will extract data from databases, create automation tools, and run champion-challenger tests, while providing reports and business analytics to senior management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related quantitative field.
• Experience with statistical methods and hypothesis testing.
• Strong data extraction and analysis from databases.
• Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools.

What You’ll Do

• Meet and work directly with late collections analytics manager to help deliver key collections results
• Extract and analyze information from databases
• Create tools and strategy changes that will automate/optimize/improve existing collection processes
• Generate strategy changes and implement champion-challenger statistical testing from pilot design to implementation
• Manage database environment, jobs and procedures
• Actively monitor collections performance, investigate and explain source and impact of any occurencies
• Provide reports and business analysis and insights

What You Need To Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or any related course

Industry Experience

Technical Skills

• Practical knowledge of hypothesis testing and usage of typical statistical tests (e.g t-test, ANOVA, etc).
• Proficiency in using Microsoft office tools.
• Ability to write in both technical and user-friendly language.
• Knowledge in using R or Python programming.
• Active knowledge and experience with SQL (Oracle).
• Knowledge in using business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
