Job summary

Gourmet Creations OPC in Pasig City is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to join our bakery team. You will assist with ingredient prep, food production, and general kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include at least 1 year of kitchen experience, basic food handling and sanitation knowledge, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. High school graduate with culinary interest is a plus; training provided in Pasig City.

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Helper to join our team in Pasig City. The Kitchen Helper will assist the kitchen and baking team with ingredient preparation, food production, cleaning, and other daily kitchen operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, willing to learn, able to multitask, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist bakers and kitchen staff in preparing breads, pastries, cakes, and other food products.
• Prepare, measure, and organize ingredients according to recipes and production requirements.
• Assist with basic food preparation such as washing, cutting, mixing, weighing, and portioning ingredients.
• Help maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the kitchen, workstations, and storage areas.
• Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Properly operate and assist in the cleaning and basic maintenance of kitchen and baking equipment.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures.
• Ensure ingredients and supplies are properly stored and handled.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and monitoring kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Perform multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining quality and cleanliness.
• Work independently when assigned tasks and cooperate effectively with other kitchen staff.
• Follow instructions from the baker, chef, or supervisor.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience as a Kitchen Helper or in a similar kitchen position.
• Experience assisting with the preparation of breads, pastries, cakes, or other baked products is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety.
• Familiarity with basic kitchen and baking equipment.
