About the role
The Key Account Specialist is responsible for managing and growing strategic retail and distribution accounts within the home-appliance industry. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, strengthening customer relationships, expanding product distribution, and developing account strategies that drive revenue and market share.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with key accounts, including major retailers, distributors, appliance stores, and e-commerce platforms.
- Develop and execute account plans to achieve sales, revenue, profit, and distribution targets.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, promotions, rebates, and other account requirements.
- Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, sell-in and sell-out activities, and product availability.
- Coordinate with sales, marketing, logistics, finance, and product teams to ensure smooth account operations.
- Identify opportunities for new product listings, additional store placements, displays, and category expansion.
- Plan and implement promotions, product launches, merchandising activities, and other account-specific programs.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and sales data to identify business opportunities.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, account reports, business reviews, and performance presentations.
- Ensure proper execution of brand standards, pricing policies, merchandising guidelines, and promotional activities.
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development, preferably in appliances, consumer electronics, FMCG, or retail.
- Experience handling major retail chains, distributors, or e-commerce accounts is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.
- Good understanding of retail sales, merchandising, promotions, inventory management, and commercial planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, store visits, and business activities.
