We are seeking a Junior Dining Manager to join the team at NIU by Vikings, part of the esteemed Vikings Group of Companies. This is a full-time position based in Taguig City, Metro Manila. As Junior Dining Manager, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for overseeing daily dining operations, maintaining service standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction whilst supporting the senior management team. Supervise and coordinate front-of-house dining staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders, to ensure smooth service delivery
Monitor table management and guest flow to optimize seating arrangements and dining experience
Ensure all staff adhere to company service standards, hygiene protocols, and presentation guidelines
Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback, ensuring resolution and guest satisfaction
Assist in training and onboarding new dining staff members
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations
Support inventory management and ordering of dining supplies and beverages
Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely and accurate service
Handle reservations and manage peak-hour operations
Report operational issues to senior management and implement corrective actions
Contribute to promotional activities and special events hosted by the restaurant
1–3 years of experience in dining or restaurant management, or equivalent supervisory experience in hospitality
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards and dining etiquette
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate team members
Customer service excellence with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
Organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple priorities during service periods
Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in fast-paced environments
Assist in preparing and monitoring payroll and attendance records.
Handle and monitor service charge (SC) administration and related documentation.
Basic knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems and reservation management software
Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
Problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to operational challenges
