Job summary

Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. seeks a Senior Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records for multiple client entities, lead month-end close, and review junior staff work. This role supports the firm’s accounting and tax teams and requires strong technical bookkeeping skills.

The position offers a Work From Home arrangement in the Philippines with a Night Shift schedule and opportunities to onboard new clients, improve processes, and implement automation tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 4–5 years bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in outsourced services.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping fundamentals and financial reporting.
• Experience managing multiple client entities or books.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and cloud accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general ledger accounts for multiple client entities across industries.
• Oversee and review bookkeeping work by junior staff.
• Lead month-end close processes and prepare journal entries.
• Prepare monthly financial reports (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
• Assist onboarding of new clients and review historical data.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements.
