Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred; internship okay for strong candidates.
• Foundational knowledge of bookkeeping principles is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Exposure to cloud accounting systems (QB Online, Xero, NetSuite, etc.) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Record and categorize transactions in cloud accounting systems under senior review.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks.
• Perform bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare supporting schedules and workpapers for month-end close.
• Flag discrepancies and open items for senior review.
