Job summary

Equalynx Network Co. is seeking an IT Technician (Auxiliary System) to install, configure, test, and maintain CCTV, access control, cabling, PA, and related IT infrastructure at project sites in Metro Manila.

You will read drawings, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with project teams, and travel to sites. Ideal candidates have IT/electronics/electrical backgrounds, basic networking, and willingness to learn and work on-site.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or related technical field
• Vocational graduates are encouraged to apply
• Experience in CCTV, cabling, access control, networking, or auxiliary systems is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of LAN, IP addressing, networking, and low-voltage systems
• Willing to work on-site and travel to different project locations
• Physically capable of working at heights and in construction environments
• Good troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills
• Willing to learn and undergo technical training

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and maintain auxiliary and low-voltage systems
• Install CCTV cameras, NVR/DVR, monitors, and related equipment
• Install and troubleshoot access control and door security systems
• Perform structured cabling, cable pulling, termination, labeling, and cable management
• Assist in the installation of network devices and IT infrastructure
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance
• Read and follow technical drawings, plans, diagrams, and installation specifications
• Identify and resolve technical and connectivity issues at project sites
• Coordinate with Project Coordinators, Technical Leads, Engineers, and clients
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company property in good working condition

About the role

The IT Technician (Auxiliary System) is responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of auxiliary and low-voltage systems such as CCTV, access control, structured cabling, public address systems, intercom, and related IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and maintain auxiliary and low-voltage systems
• Perform installation of CCTV cameras, NVR/DVR, monitors, and related equipment
• Install and troubleshoot access control and door security systems
• Perform structured cabling, cable pulling, termination, labeling, and cable management
• Assist in the installation of network devices and IT infrastructure
• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance

About you
