Roles and Responsibilities
1. Security Systems Engineer (Primary Role – ACS & CCTV)
- Perform installation, troubleshooting, and repair of ACS and CCTV.
- Respond promptly to reported incidents, both hardware and basic software issues.
- Conduct on-site visits for root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Serve as primary technical point of contact for ACS and CCTV-related issues.
- Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports on system performance, incidents, and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for audit, compliance, and SLA purposes.
- Recommend system upgrades or optimizations to enhance reliability, security, and performance.
2. Badge & ID Support (Secondary Role – Relief)
- Support Badge & ID issuance and photobooth operations as needed, including:
- Photo ID reproduction (PVC, Access Badge, Company ID)
- Operation of Badge printers and cameras
- Inventory and logistics management of Badge & ID peripherals (PVC cards, ribbons, HID cards)
- Respond to ticketed access requests and helpdesk inquiries.
- Prepare reports for Badge & ID activities and support audits or compliance engagements.
3. Door Hardware & Access Systems Support (Secondary Role – Relief)
- Support Door Hardware & Access Systems tasks, including:
- Repairs of door closers, locks, hinges, and related access hardware
- Replacement of defective or out-of-warranty hardware under TCO-managed services
- Maintaining stock levels and assisting procurement follow-ups for door hardware
- Document work performed, incidents, and corrective actions.
4. Cross-Functional Responsibilities
- Serve as a flexible resource to ensure SLA adherence and continuity across all three functional areas.
- Escalate unresolved issues to the respective Team Lead, Associate Manager, or Technical Support Unit Manager.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all work performed, preventive maintenance, incidents, and inventory activities.
- Support audit, compliance, and reporting requirements for all three service scopes.
5. Shift & 24/7 Operations Support
- Be available for rotational shifts to support 24-hour operations.
- Provide emergency on-call support as required.
- Escalate and document critical incidents per SLA requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with Access Control Systems (ACS) and CCTV.
- Basic troubleshooting skills for ACS hardware, door closers, and Badge & ID equipment.
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, firmware, and software components of security systems.
- Knowledge of cabling standards, device mounting, and system integration practices.
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance and system optimization.
- Familiarity with photobooth operations and Badge & ID peripherals.
Soft Skills
- Flexible and adaptable, able to work across multiple operational scopes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication for client interaction and reporting.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a 24/7 operational environment.
Certifications (Preferred)
- CCTV / Access Control System certification (e.g., CCURE, Lenel, Genetec, HID SEOS)
- Safety Training / Occupational Safety Certification
Experience
- 3–5 years of experience in ACS, CCTV, or security systems engineering
- Experience in on-site deployments, maintenance, and managed services operations preferred.
- Prior experience in 24/7 support or multi-site operations is a plus.
- Experience in Badge & ID operations or door hardware maintenance is a plus.
