Qualifications

Technical knowledge in computer hardware, operating systems (OS, Linux), IT peripherals and productivity software; able to troubleshoot issues.
Coding experience is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred.
Understanding of networking technology and network devices (e.g., switches, AP, VPN, firewall, VLAN, TCP/IP).
Knowledge about cloud and virtualization and its use; understanding of network security is a plus.
Eye for detail, organized, proactive and capable of working with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Provide timely and competent technical support to users ranging from cellphones, desktop, hardware, software, and peripherals.
Troubleshoot problems, find the root cause, and come up with a viable solution.
Use IT tools and systems to monitor and report/resolve problems that arise.
Take on multiple tasks, adhere to project management techniques, and meet deadlines.
Document inventory and asset assignment, canvass with vendors, and understand user requirements.
Set up computers and cellphones, configure operating systems, and install software.
