Job summary

Unison Solutions Delivery, Inc. is seeking an IT Support Technician to join our Manila team. You will set up, install, and configure operating systems, applications, endpoint security tools, and peripherals, and provide on-site assistance.

The role requires diagnosing hardware, software, and basic network issues, delivering user-friendly support, and performing preventive maintenance on IT assets across company locations. Travel nationwide may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduate in BS Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 1 year of relevant IT support experience is preferred.
• Strong hardware, software, and basic electronics troubleshooting.
• Willing to travel nationwide when required and to be assigned in Metro Manila.

Responsibilities

• Set up, install, and configure operating systems, applications, endpoint security tools, and IT peripherals.
• Diagnose and resolve computer hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues.
• Provide technical assistance and support to employees and end users.
• Conduct regular inspection, cleaning, testing, and preventive maintenance of IT equipment.
• Support software updates, security patches, system testing, and endpoint management activities.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain computer hardware and components.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs, and coordinate with authorized service providers for warranty concerns.
• Evaluate malfunctioning or defective equipment and recommend repair or replacement as appropriate.
• Ensure proper handling, documentation, and disposal of obsolete or damaged IT equipment.
• Create and maintain preventive maintenance plans and schedules for company IT assets.
• Troubleshoot and maintain computers, printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.
• Keep updated records of IT assets, maintenance activities, repairs, and technical support requests.
• Provide on-site technical assistance and support at company locations as needed.
