Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an IT Support Technician/Desktop Support Analyst to provide technical assistance to users in a Manila-area environment. You will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist with user account administration, and ensure workstations and peripherals run smoothly.

The role requires a hands-on approach, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service. Occasional on-site work at the Alabang office and a dayshift schedule with rotations are expected.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of PC workstations, operating systems, and network fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues for desktop and portable computers.
• Assist users via email, IM, remote desktop, or on-site support.
• Monitor, analyze, and document incoming tickets and support requests.
• Maintain and update user accounts, hardware, and software inventory.
• Maintain standard workstation configurations for efficient support.
• Guide end users on software, hardware, and peripheral device operations.
• Mentor junior support staff and assist with escalation procedures.
• Ensure timely resolution of helpdesk tickets and follow agreed service levels.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
