Job summary

ARDESIA RESORT & SPA in Angeles, Philippines seeks an IT professional to support and maintain the resort's IT infrastructure, systems, and security devices.

You will install and troubleshoot network, CCTV, POS, door locks, Wi‑Fi, and hotel technology while applying cybersecurity practices and coordinating with vendors to keep operations secure.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel or resort operations preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field preferred.
• Strong networking, IT support, hardware, software, and operating systems knowledge.
• Cisco Certified CyberOps Professional certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support for hardware, software, operating systems, peripherals, and other devices.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network cabling, equipment, and connectivity.
• Manage and maintain reliable Wi‑Fi connectivity across the resort.
• Support and troubleshoot hotel technology systems, including POS, electronic door locksets, and other integrated hotel systems.
• Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot CCTV camera systems.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot intercom systems for guest rooms and villas.
• Monitor and maintain network and system security to protect data, devices, and hotel systems.
• Apply cybersecurity practices, including access control, password management, data protection, malware prevention, and threat identification.
• Perform regular system updates, backups, and basic security checks to maintain reliable IT operations.
• Troubleshoot IT-related concerns and provide technical support to employees and resort operations.
• Coordinate with third-party IT service providers and vendors as needed.
• Ensure all IT equipment, systems, and security devices are properly maintained and operational.
• Perform other IT-related tasks as assigned.

We are looking for an IT professional who will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the resort's IT infrastructure, systems, and security devices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide IT support for computer hardware, software, operating systems, peripherals, and other devices.

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network cabling, network equipment, and connectivity.

• Manage and maintain reliable Wi-Fi connectivity across all areas of the resort.

• Support and troubleshoot hotel technology systems, including POS systems, electronic door locksets, and other integrated hotel systems.

• Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot CCTV camera systems.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot intercom systems for guest rooms and villas.

• Monitor and maintain network and system security to help protect company data, devices, and hotel systems from unauthorized access.

• Apply cybersecurity practices, including access control, password management, data protection, malware prevention, and identification of potential security threats.

• Perform regular system updates, backups, and basic security checks to maintain reliable and secure IT operations.

• Troubleshoot IT-related concerns and provide technical assistance to employees and resort operations.

• Coordinate with third-party IT service providers and vendors when necessary.

• Ensure that all IT equipment, systems, and security devices are properly maintained and operational.

• Perform other IT-related tasks and duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

Qualifications

• Preferably with work experience in hotel or resort operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of networking, IT support, hardware, software, and operating systems.

• Experience with CCTV, intercom, Wi-Fi, POS, electronic door lock systems, and other hotel technology is an advantage.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and basic network security.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Cisco Certified CyberOps Professional certification is required.
