Job summary

BDO Unibank in Makati seeks an experienced IT professional to manage incident response, availability, performance, and capacity planning across all production environments the team supports. You will monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, and drive improvements to prevent recurrence.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in IT/CS/Engineering, with 4–5 years in IT and at least 1 year in infrastructure support, and is willing to work onsite in Makati or Ortigas.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or Engineering.
• At least 4-5 years of IT experience.
• At least 1 year exposure to infrastructure support.
• Willing to work onsite and be assigned in Makati/Ortigas.

Responsibilities

• Incident Response, isolation and troubleshooting
• Perform root cause and problem analysis
• Provide findings and recommendation to resolve an incident or recurring issues
• Implement change in accordance to the standards in operations guidelines and policies
• Monitor and manage all production systems in scope
• Ensure availability and performance using available tools / scripts
• Identify automation opportunity and contribute to work efficiency
• Conduct capacity planning and preventive maintenance

Education

Degree in IT, Computer Science or Engineering

4-5 years IT experience

1 year exposure to infrastructure support
