Job summary

Convergent Outsourcing Solutions Inc. in the Philippines seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide frontline technical assistance for computers, printers, and other IT equipment. You will troubleshoot issues and help keep employees productive.

You will install and maintain operating systems, applications, and networks, assist with security policies, manage user accounts, backups, and coordinate with vendors to ensure smooth IT operations for the collections business.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to employees regarding computers, laptops, printers, headsets, and other IT equipment.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, internet, and system-related issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and IT equipment.
• Assist in maintaining collections systems, dialers, CRM platforms, and other business applications.
• Support user account creation, access management, password resets, and permissions.
• Monitor network connectivity and ensure the availability of IT systems used by collections operations.
• Perform routine system maintenance, software updates, data backups, and equipment checks.
• Assist in implementing IT security policies and protecting confidential customer and company data.
• Maintain an inventory of IT assets and document technical issues, resolutions, and service requests.
• Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers for technical support and equipment repairs.
• Provide technical assistance during system upgrades, office expansions, and other IT projects.
• Ensure compliance with company policies on data privacy, information security, and acceptable use of IT resources.
