Thames International School is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide first-level technical help for desktops, printers, and network devices. You will manage user accounts, assist with configurations, and document IT processes to sustain reliable services across campus.

Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
Assist end-users with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of devices (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.).
Document and track support requests using a ticketing system.
Monitor IT systems and networks to ensure performance and security.
Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches on software and hardware.
Assist in the installation and configuration of IT equipment and software applications.
Support the management of local area networks (LAN) and wireless networks.
Ensure network connectivity and performance through monitoring and troubleshooting.
Assist in maintaining firewall and security systems.
Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts and permissions across various systems.
Conduct regular audits of accounts to ensure compliance with security policies.
Assist users with password resets and account access issues.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, procedures, and configurations.
Assist in the creation of user manuals and training materials for IT systems.
Generate reports on IT support activities and system performance as needed.
Work closely with the IT team to implement new technologies and systems.
Provide training and support to end-users on software applications and best practices.
Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure technology solutions meet organizational needs.
Provide input and suggestions for improving IT services and infrastructure.
Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support or related role.
Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software applications.
Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
