Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, both onsite and remotely.
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices.
Diagnose and resolve operating system, application, and connectivity problems.
Support the setup and maintenance of company accounts, email, and user access rights.
Perform system upgrades, patch management, and preventive maintenance.
Ensure data backup, antivirus updates, and system security compliance.
Document incidents, solutions, and processes for future reference.
Coordinate with external vendors or higher-level IT staff for unresolved technical issues.
Provide training and guidance to users on basic IT practices and tools.
Assist in inventory management of IT assets (hardware, software licenses).
Required Skills & Knowledge
Hardware Knowledge
Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting:
Desktops, laptops, and servers
Printers, scanners, and other peripherals
Routers, switches, and basic networking equipment
Knowledge of diagnosing and replacing hardware components (HDD/SSD, RAM, power supply, etc.).
Software Knowledge
Operating Systems: Windows, macOS, and basic Linux troubleshooting.
Office productivity software (e.g., MS Office 365, Google Workspace).
Antivirus, backup systems, and IT security tools.
Basic understanding of ERP, CRM, or industry-specific applications.
Familiarity with remote desktop tools and helpdesk ticketing systems.
