Job summary

ERNI Schweiz AG in Mandaluyong City, Philippines, seeks a Senior IT Asset Management Analyst to lead HAM Pro initiatives and coordinate with a ServiceNow vendor. The role focuses on asset lifecycle, CMDB reconciliation, and governance across ITAM systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of IT Asset Management, ITSM, or related IT operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow HAM Pro, asset lifecycle management, CMDB reconciliation.
• Experience with Flexera or similar IT asset management tools and API/MID Server integrations.
• ITAM governance, policy development, and KPI reporting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical interface with the ServiceNow HAM Pro vendor and oversee implementation.
• Define requirements for hardware stockrooms, asset lifecycles, and CMDB reconciliation.
• Review configurations, test changes, and validate deliverables against ITAM governance.
• Oversee HAM Pro and Flexera integrations, including API connectivity and data quality checks.
• Develop ITAM policies, KPIs, and dashboards; manage vendor actions and corrective plans.

Position

Senior IT Asset Management Analyst to support IT Asset Management (ITAM) digital enhancements, with a strong focus on ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management Professional (HAM Pro).

Role Description

The role will serve as the technical counterpart to a third-party ServiceNow vendor, responsible for defining requirements, overseeing technical implementation, reviewing configurations, validating deliverables, and ensuring alignment with ITAM governance and processes.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Management, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Asset Management, IT Service Management, or related IT operations.

Strong technical knowledge of ServiceNow HAM Pro, including:

• Hardware stockrooms
• Asset lifecycle management
• Asset normalization

CMDB and reconciliation

Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities such as Business Rules, UI Policies, Flow Designer/Workflow, ACLs, and Performance Analytics/reporting.

Working knowledge of Flexera or equivalent IT asset/software asset management tools and their integration with ServiceNow through APIs or MID Server.

Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycle management, governance, compliance, and controls.

Experience in ITAM policy/process development and performance reporting.

Strong analytical, documentation, and data management skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications / Preferred Experience managing or overseeing third-party IT vendors or system integrators.

Experience reviewing technical designs, configurations, test results, and conducting acceptance testing.

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or HAM Pro/ITAM micro-certification is strongly preferred. ITIL certification or strong working knowledge of ITIL practices is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the technical interface with the ServiceNow implementation vendor for HAM Pro.

Define and validate requirements for hardware stockrooms, asset lifecycle stages/models, asset normalization, CMDB reconciliation, and ITAM workflows.

Review and test ServiceNow configurations, including Flow Designer/Workflow, Business Rules, UI Policies, ACLs, and reporting/Performance Analytics.

Oversee and validate ServiceNow HAM Pro and Flexera integrations, including API/MID Server connectivity, asset reconciliation, and data quality.

Ensure accurate tracking of asset ownership, lifecycle status, financial attributes, and compliance across ITAM systems such as ServiceNow, Flexera, and Oracle FAR.

Develop and maintain IT asset governance policies, standards, procedures, and controls.

Define ITAM KPIs, data quality metrics, and control checkpoints and work with the vendor on their implementation.

Develop and review asset inventory, lifecycle, compliance, and risk reports/dashboards.

Identify ITAM gaps, risks, and control issues and oversee corrective actions with the vendor.

Review vendor technical deliverables, testing results, documentation, and support acceptance testing.

Work Setup: Hybrid (required to report onsite at least once a week, subject to project and business needs)

Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Manila Time
