ZC New Horizon Distribution Corp in Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City, is seeking an Inventory Specialist to maintain accurate stock records and support efficient distribution operations.

You will monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts, verify incoming and outgoing shipments, and generate reports to help management decision-making. The role requires attention to detail, proficiency with inventory systems, Excel, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, inventory management or distribution roles.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and warehouse management software.
• Familiarity with Excel and basic data entry for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor stock levels across districts using inventory systems and manual counts.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical audits to ensure stock record accuracy.
• Process and verify incoming stocks, check for discrepancies and damage.
• Prepare and process outgoing orders, ensuring correct items and quantities.
• Maintain documentation of all inventory movements and transactions.
• Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with sales to optimize storage and retrieval processes.
• Generate inventory reports to support management decisions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and security protocols in the warehouse.
• Assist in inventory improvement initiatives and process enhancements.

About the role

ZC New Horizon Distribution Corp is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our distribution operations in Kasanyangan, Zamboanga City. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our distribution center. As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and implementing inventory management best practices to support our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and track inventory levels across the districts using inventory management systems and manual counts
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical audits to ensure accuracy of stock records
• Process and verify incoming stocks, checking for discrepancies and damage
• Prepare and process outgoing orders, ensuring correct items and quantities are dispatched
• Maintain accurate documentation of all inventory movements and transactions
• Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with sales team to optimize storage and retrieval processes
• Generate inventory reports and provide data analysis to support management decision-making
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and security protocols within the panel environment
• Assist in implementing inventory improvement initiatives and process enhancements

What we are looking for

• Previous experience working in warehouse, inventory management or distribution roles
• Proficiency with inventory management systems and warehouse management software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of inventory control principles and best practices
• Basic mathematical skills for counting, reconciliation and calculations
• Physical capability to perform lifting and carrying tasks regularly
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Certification in inventory management or logistics would be advantageous
