Newport World Resorts is seeking an Inventory Management Associate to support daily storeroom operations, receiving, stocking, and inventory control of operational materials. You will ensure accurate data recording and uphold FIFO procedures to prevent stockouts.
You will handle issuance, verify deliveries, and perform weekly cycle counts and monthly stock takes. Strong attention to detail and collaboration with end-users are essential.
The Inventory Management Associate is responsible for assisting with daily storeroom operations and maintenance which includes but not limited to receiving, issuance, stocking of operational materials and supplies, inventory control and data recording.
Do the physical receiving of deliveries in any categories such as intangible and intangible assets capable of navigating inventory management systems. Have a good individual judgement on items received and justified rejections.
Extract valid requisitions for advance preparation of items a day before issuance. The “First In First Out” procedures for products are followed to ensure that stocks will not go lower than its minimum par stocks or critical level.
Ensure that Store Requisition Forms are approved and prepared within the established cut off time prior to actual issuance of items.
Issue items to the requestor based on Issuance schedule. Exceptional items are only received after approval of the Cost Control Manager. Prepare log of all non-compliance issuance.
Book all issued requests on the same day of issuance and forward all to the Store Supervisor for checking and monitoring of Summary of Compliance Report.
Keep up-to-date with article names, unit of measurement,and Product description of each item.
Make certain that stocks being maintained are all in good quality and presentable.
Perform weekly monitoring of products shelf life. Report products that are near expiration as well as critical and out of stock items.
Ensure that the stocks are properly secured and arranged per category. Check daily storeroom temperature and assist to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the stock shelves.
Perform weekly cycle count based on the items identified in the cycle count file.
Performing pre-counting before actual monthly stock take.
Take part in the monthly stock take, ensuring all stocks are counted correctly and all variances are accounted for.
Safeguard the entire store.
Assist counting of identified products specified by Cost Control during spot checks.
Prepare spoilage form if applicable
Assures that quantity in Delivery Receipt matches the quantity stated in Purchase order allowing only 5% tolerable variance
Check expiration and packaging condition of items
Coordinate receiving issues with end users and purchasing
Accountable in uploading and encoding delivery/receipt of goods in the database.
Capable to Judge based on the SOP if rejections or acceptable items.
Capable of navigating receiving & Inventory systems on a day to day basis of the operations.
Do the physical receiving of deliveries in any categories such as intangible and intangible assets.
Be familiar with any FA(Fixed Asset) forms with its purpose.
Familiar on the items specifications UOM (Unit Of Measurement)
Knowledge and understanding on the PO(Purchase Order) & PR(Purchase Request)
Knowledge and understanding on the various type of Sales Invoice and DR(Delivery Receipt if necessary)
Knowledge and understanding on the proper interpretation on BIR Regulations such as VAT(Value Added Tax) & EWT (Expanded Withholding Taxes)
Knowledge and understanding on the proper interpretation on terms and condition of the PO specially the FF:
At least a college level, A Graduate of Bachelor's Degree (Is an advantage)
Minimum 2 years experience in the same field.
Preferably with knowledge in Warehouse Management Systems
Capable how to operate the lifting equipment like jack lift both manual and electric level pickers etc (efficiency is with consideration)
Good communications skills that could lead into good interpersonal communications between receiving and delivery personnel.
Proper understanding of a certain group of item categories: Fruits,Vegetables,Dry goods items,Meat & Poultry,Seafoods, Chemical, Engineering items and Non Foods.
Good interpersonal understanding with good judgement between acceptable products versus unacceptable or rejected.
