D & L Industries in Laguna, Philippines, is seeking a Warehouse Operations Lead to oversee end-to-end warehouse processes from inbound to outbound. You will manage daily DC operations, optimize efficiency, and lead a team to meet safety, accuracy, and productivity targets.
The role requires at least three years in warehousing, a 4-year degree, and strong computer skills. You will coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments, implement 5S and continuous improvement initiatives,
Responsible in planning, organizing, initiating, controlling and executing WH end-to-end operational processes (incoming to outgoing) in with adherence to company policies and standards.
1. To manage day-to-day WH operation (incoming to outgoing).
2. To manage the distribution center (DC) to ensure continuous, efficient and cost-effective operations.
3. To lead, manage and develop employees to maximize their skills, expertise and potential
4. Initiates GWP and 5S habits in the workplace.
5. Ensures inventory control is practice and observes at all times.
6. Initiates projects for the improvement of the overall performance of the team in a cost efficient way.
7. Leads the team effectively in achieving desired commitment and productivity.
8. Elevates issues and/or concerns to the Supply Chain Head so that action plans could be formulated in accordance to the standards and best practices.
9. Coordinates with Warehouse Foreman to ensure efficiency in Product Handling and inventory end-to-end process.
10. Ensure safety compliance of all WH personnel
11. Keeps an up-to‑date record of stocks on hand, issuance and receipts of finished goods stored in the warehouse through the AX System
12. Authorizes dispatch of deliveries by signing the Dispatch Sheet.
13. Ensures all Forklift equipment are operational.
1. Coordinates with other sections and departments (i.e. Purchasing, IMPEX, Port Clearing, Production, Marketing, Motorpool and others) on activities related to Delivery & Dispatching.
2. Checks punctuality, attendance and work attitude of warehouse personnel and executes administrative measures where needed based on the Company Rules and Regulations.
3. Motivates warehouse personnel by conducting a regular meeting to discuss problems encountered and suggesting better ways of doing things.
4. Conducts performance evaluation of warehouse personnel.
5. Review and validates corrective actions on problems (encountered at) D&D-related problems.
6. Ensures that all Third Party Haulers are assessed at least twice a year.
7. Coordinate orientation of Third Party Haulers.
8. Checks Truckers Billing Statement prior remittance to Accounting Department.
9. Sign/Acknowledge overtime for of Warehouse Foreman.
1. Recommends request for overtime and application for leave of warehouse personnel.
2. Recommends changes in systems and procedures related to warehousing.
3. Recommends cost saving ideas.
4. Coordinates with other departments regarding finished goods, raw materials, packaging materials and warehousing matters.
