Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to monitor and reconcile inventory across systems and physical stock. You will manage transactions, lead cycle counts, and provide accurate reporting to support manufacturing decisions.

The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing inventory control, a BS in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, and strong NetSuite ERP skills. You will collaborate with QA, Production, Supply Chain, Finance, and Warehousing teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in manufacturing inventory control.
• BS degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Monitoring & Control – maintain accurate system inventory vs physical stock and resolve discrepancies.
• Transaction Management – ensure timely posting of issuances, returns, conversions, with supporting documents.
• Physical Count & Reconciliation – lead cycle counts and month-end counts; analyze variances and adjust.
• Inventory Reporting & Analysis – monitor KPIs and prepare reports for manufacturing plants.
• Material Status Monitoring – report damaged, rejected, slow-moving, obsolete and expired materials; coordinate disposals.
• Process Improvement & Compliance – improve inventory accuracy and efficiency while ensuring processes and QA coordination.
• Technical & Analytical Competencies – apply inventory-control knowledge, ERP/NetSuite skills, BOM knowledge, and cross-functional communication.

Job description

What You'll Do:

• Inventory Monitoring & Control – Maintain accurate system inventory versus physical stock; investigate, analyze, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Transaction Management – Ensure timely and accurate posting of material issuances, returns, conversions, and other inventory transactions, with complete supporting documents.
• Physical Count & Reconciliation – Lead/support cycle counts and month-end inventory counts; conduct variance analysis, identify root causes, and facilitate necessary adjustments.
• Inventory Reporting & Analysis – Monitor inventory KPIs and prepare accurate inventory reports for manufacturing plants to support operational decision-making.
• Material Status Monitoring – Consolidate and report damaged, rejected, slow-moving, obsolete, and expired materials/products, including timely material pull-out or disposal.
• Process Improvement & Compliance – Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency while ensuring compliance with established processes and coordinating with QA, Production, Supply Chain, Finance, Warehouse, TPM, and Suppliers.
• Technical & Analytical Competencies – Apply strong inventory-control knowledge, ERP/NetSuite skills, BOM and production transaction knowledge, reconciliation and variance-analysis skills, attention to detail, and effective cross-functional communication.

What Makes You A Great Fit:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing inventory control.
• Education: Graduate of BS Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Skills & Certification: Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, with strong analytical and inventory reconciliation skills.
