Job summary

JOSMEF MEDICAL CORPORATION is seeking an Inventory Clerk to monitor and control stock across branches and warehouse in Iloilo City. You will validate daily inventory sheets, ensure accurate records, and coordinate with branches on discrepancies.

You will analyze inventory variances, generate branch reports, and support audits. Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, plus willingness to travel, are required for effective stock management.

Qualifications

• College level or graduate of any course with relevant experience in inventory management.
• At least one (1) year experience in inventory control, stock monitoring, or related work.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets for inventory tracking and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel to branches for inventory counts and audits.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Monitoring and Control: Review and validate inventory sheets from all branches and warehouse daily; ensure accuracy of inventory records; coordinate with branches on discrepancies; monitor stock levels.
• Inventory Analysis and Reporting: Identify variances, generate branch reports on salable/non-moving items; monitor near-expiry, expired, and damaged items; submit findings to Stock Manager and Consultant.
• Physical Inventory and Audits: Conduct scheduled/random counts; encode results into systems; perform recounts and variance justification; participate in year-end audits.
• Coordination and Support: Coordinate inventory activities with branch personnel, pharmacists, and warehouse staff; provide guidance on processes; coordinate with MIS for system concerns.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory Monitoring and Control

• Review and validate inventory sheets from all branches and warehouse on a daily basis.

• Ensure accuracy of inventory records including sold POS, sold CS, pull-outs, and other stock movements.

• Coordinate with branches to address discrepancies and inventory concerns.

• Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.

Inventory Analysis and Reporting

• Identify variances, excess, and short items and initiate reconciliation and justification.

• Generate reports on salable, non-moving, and slow-moving items per branch.

• Monitor near-expiry, expired, and damaged items and ensure compliance with expiry and pull-out policies.

• Prepare and submit inventory reports and findings to the Stock Manager and Consultant.

Physical Inventory and Audits

• Conduct scheduled and random physical inventory counts in branches and warehouse.

• Encode inventory count results accurately into inventory systems and sheets.

• Perform recounts and variance justification as required.

• Participate in year-end and special inventory audits.

Coordination and Support

• Coordinate inventory activities with branch personnel, pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and warehouse staff.

• Provide guidance to branches on proper inventory processes and documentation.

• Coordinate with MIS for system-related inventory concerns.

• Perform other inventory-related tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATION
