About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Branch Inventory Controller Supervisor who will oversee inventory operations across assigned branches. The role ensures accurate stock levels, timely replenishment, proper documentation, and adherence to company inventory control standards. You will supervise branch inventory staff, conduct audits, analyze data, and coordinate with supply chain and purchasing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervises branch inventory personnel and ensures compliance with company inventory protocols.
- Monitors stock levels, conducts regular physical counts, and reconciles variances.
- Implements inventory control systems and process improvements across branches.
- Reviews purchase orders, deliveries, tagging, stock transfers, and receiving processes.
- Coordinates with suppliers, logistics, warehouse, and purchasing for accurate stock movement.
- Prepares daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Ensures all branch inventory data are updated in the system in real-time and error-free.
- Forecasts stock needs and flags potential shortages or overstock.
- Conducts branch inventory audits and submits corrective/preventive action plans.
- Ensures proper storage, classification, and handling of all items.
- Supports HSE and company compliance standards.
- Performs other tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/College Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Accounting or related field
- At least 1–2 years of work experience in inventory, stock control, logistics, or warehouse supervision.
- MUST PASS the Excel test (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Table).
- Experience in construction materials or retail inventory is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills; keen attention to detail; highly organized.
- Capable of multitasking and working under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Mature, responsible, flexible, and a team player.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Office, and inventory systems.
- Willing to do actual physical inventory counts and travel to assigned branches.
