Job summary

Smith+Naphew is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage field inventory, consignment stock, loaner surgical sets and capital assets across the region. You will drive accuracy, asset utilisation and timely issue resolution, partnering with Sales, Customer Care, Operations, Finance and Quality to optimise inventory investments.

Responsibilities include coordinating cycle counts, verifying asset records, investigating variances, and producing KPI dashboards for management.

Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualification in supply chain, logistics, business, finance, data analytics or a related discipline is desirable.
Demonstrated logistics or inventory-control experience.
Strong SAP and Microsoft proficiency.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Coordinate hospital consignment stock cycle count management with Sales, hospitals and third-party providers.
Verify field assets and inventory counts; reconcile to item/batch level and update records.
Investigate variances with Sales and Customer Care to support revenue recognition.
Monitor billing, overdue loans, and consignment returns; escalate material risks.
Prepare inventory reports, KPI dashboards and management insights for stakeholders.
