Job summary

Private Advertiser seeks a Logistics and Inventory Audit Staff to monitor, verify, and audit inventory movements and logistics transactions. The role ensures alignment of physical inventory with system records and adherence to controls.

You will conduct counts, reconcile records, and investigate discrepancies while coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams to strengthen inventory accuracy and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in inventory, warehouse operations, logistics, audit, or stock control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet applications.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willing to conduct physical inventory counts and visit warehouse or operational areas.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock audits.
• Reconcile physical inventory against system records and inventory documents.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, variances, shortages, overages, and damaged items.
• Verify the accuracy of receiving, issuing, transferring, and returning inventory.
• Check inventory records, stock cards, purchase orders, delivery receipts, and other documents.
• Monitor proper tagging, storage, handling, and identification of inventory.
• Report unusual inventory movements or policy violations to the supervisor.
• Audit incoming and outgoing shipments and verify documents.
• Monitor movement of goods from receiving through storage to delivery.
• Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, sales, finance, and logistics on discrepancies.
• Assist in investigating delivery shortages, damages, delays, and other issues.
• Ensure logistics transactions are properly documented and recorded.
• Prepare audit reports and maintain working papers and supporting docs.
