Job summary

Our Clients is seeking an IT Inventory and BOM SME to manage IT asset inventory and bills of materials for deployment and upgrades. The role collaborates with IT, Procurement, Warehouse, Finance and Project teams to support efficient asset management and technology implementation.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in IT Inventory/Asset Management, strong BOM experience, and solid Excel and ERP skills to ensure data accuracy and lifecycle governance across multi-site environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
3–5 years of experience in IT Inventory/Asset Management or BOM management.
Experience creating and maintaining BOMs for IT infra or deployments.
Strong IT hardware knowledge and lifecycle management.
Experience with ERP or inventory/asset management systems.

Responsibilities

Manage accurate inventory records of IT assets across devices and peripherals.
Create and standardize BOMs for site deployments and upgrades.
Ensure BOM accuracy and alignment with standards.
Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, and vendors for timely procurement.
Monitor movements, deployments, repairs, returns, and disposals of assets.
Conduct regular audits, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Maintain asset documentation including serials, warranties, licenses, and lifecycle records.
Prepare technology requirements and readiness for implementation projects.
Analyze inventory trends and optimize stock levels.
Develop inventory control processes and governance standards.
Produce inventory, BOM, utilization and variance reports for management.
