Arvin International Marketing Inc. is seeking an Inventory Accounting Associate to ensure accurate recording, monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting of inventory across branches and warehouses nationwide.

We are looking for an Inventory Accounting Associate to support the accurate recording, monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting of inventory across our branches and warehouses nationwide. The role will work closely with Accounting, Warehouse, Logistics, Purchasing, Sales, and Branch Operations teams to ensure accurate inventory quantities, costs, and financial records.
Record and monitor inventory receipts, sales, transfers, returns, adjustments, and other inventory movements.
Reconcile physical inventory, warehouse/branch records, ERP/system balances, and accounting records.
Assist in physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and investigation of inventory variances.
Monitor inventory costing, cost of sales, purchase costs, freight, and related expenses.
Prepare inventory reports, reconciliations, aging schedules, and variance analyses by branch/warehouse.
Monitor slow-moving, damaged, expired, and obsolete inventory.
Coordinate with branches, warehouses, logistics, purchasing, and suppliers to resolve inventory discrepancies.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing, including inventory-related journal entries and reconciliations.
Support internal and external audits by preparing inventory schedules and supporting documents.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal controls.
Perform other accounting and inventory-related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting, or related field.
2–3 years of experience in accounting, inventory accounting, cost accounting, or a related role.
Experience in distribution, trading, manufacturing, agricultural, food, chemical, or FMCG industries is an advantage.
Experience handling multi-branch or warehouse inventory is preferred.
Knowledge of inventory reconciliation, costing, and physical inventory counts.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting/ERP systems such as SAP, QuickBooks, or similar.
Knowledge of VAT, withholding tax, and Philippine accounting practices is an advantage.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Willing to coordinate with or travel to branches and warehouse locations nationwide when required.
