Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Staff – Inventory to manage and monitor inventory transactions, ensure accurate costing, and maintain proper accounting records. The ideal candidate will support inventory reconciliation, reporting, and internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
- Record and monitor inventory transactions (receipts, transfers, adjustments, and issuances)
- Perform monthly inventory reconciliation between physical counts and system records
- Analyze inventory variances and prepare adjustment reports
- Maintain accurate inventory costing
- Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing related to inventory accounts
- Prepare inventory‑related journal entries
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams regarding stock discrepancies
- Support internal and external audits by providing inventory documentation
- Monitor slow‑moving, obsolete, or damaged inventory
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, preferably inventory accounting
- Knowledge of inventory management systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
- Experience in manufacturing, retail, or distribution industry
- Familiarity with inventory costing methods
- Experience with QuickBooks or Syspro
