Arvin International Marketing Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engineer (Logistics Associate) to coordinate end-to-end movement of products, including salt, chemicals, and rice, across the supply chain in a fast-paced distribution environment.
You will plan deliveries, manage inventory, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with suppliers, warehouses, and customers. The role requires field work nationwide when needed and a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
The Industrial Engineer (Logistics Associate) is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the end-to-end movement of the company's products, including salt, chemicals, rice, and other raw materials. This role ensures efficient transportation, inventory accuracy, timely deliveries, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing logistics operations in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities for bulk and packaged products, including salt, chemicals, rice, and other raw materials.
Plan, monitor, and coordinate deliveries to customers, warehouses, and other business partners to ensure on-time and accurate fulfillment.
Manage and monitor inventory levels and product movement across warehouses and distribution points.
Prepare, review, and process logistics documents, including delivery receipts, bills of lading, packing lists, invoices, and other shipping-related documents.
Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, warehouse personnel, sales teams, and customers regarding shipment schedules, delivery status, and order requirements.
Monitor shipment progress and proactively address delivery delays, damages, shortages, or other logistics concerns, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Assist in route planning and delivery scheduling to maximize transportation efficiency and minimize operational costs.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable transportation, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in handling and transporting products.
Maintain accurate and updated records of inventory transactions, shipment movements, and logistics documentation.
Support warehouse operations, inventory counts, stock reconciliations, and periodic inventory audits.
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer requirements and operational deadlines are met.
Prepare logistics reports and provide operational updates as required by management.
Conduct field work, including visits to warehouses, suppliers, transport providers, customers, and project sites nationwide, whenever required due to business or operational exigencies.
Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or any related field.
At least three (3) years of relevant experience in logistics, warehousing, distribution, or supply chain operations, preferably in the distribution of salt, chemicals, rice, or other bulk/raw material commodities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel; experience using SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage.
Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
Knowledge of transportation regulations, inventory control, warehouse operations, and safety standards.
Possesses a high level of integrity, accountability, and customer service orientation.
Willing to work on a full-time, on-site basis in Pasay City.
Willing to travel and perform field work anywhere in the Philippines as may be required by business needs and service exigencies.
