Qualifications

• Degree in Management or Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in Logistics/Supply Chain, preferably in a similar role.
• Experience in transport sourcing, logistics network planning and/or business process and systems solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product supply network to develop strategic and tactical logistics network solutions.
• Liaise with customers to develop and roll out systems solutions and ensure requirements and UAT.
• Develop strategic warehouse network solutions to ensure stable product supply and efficiency.
• Evaluate and set up logistics capabilities to meet financial and operational objectives.
• Lead capacity planning and assess feasibility of new or modified facilities.
• Consult with internal stakeholders to understand distribution networks and required resources.
• Drive continuous improvement of logistics processes and systems.

Job description

Job Overview:

This position is responsible for organizing and implementing efficient logistics operations and solutions, such as those related to transport, logistics network, and systems. The position supports the analysis of current and future warehouse, transport, business process and systems requirements and recommends the most efficient and least costly operational logistics model. It also supports the identification and design of initiatives for the improvement of existing logistics setup and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Logistics Network Analysis and Solutions

• Analyses product supply network to develop strategic and tactical logistics network solutions, ensuring product availability, optimal inventory levels at warehouses, and transport efficiency.
• Liaises with customers to develop and roll out systems solutions (requirements, user acceptance testing, etc.) that enable logistics programs.
• Develops strategic warehouse network solutions to ensure stable product supply and efficient logistics activities.
• Analyses, recommends, develops, and sets up additional logistics capabilities necessary to achieve the company’s financial and operational objectives.
• Leads the logistics strategic and tactical capacity planning initiatives and determines the feasibility of designing new facilities and/or modifying existing facilities.
• Consults with internal stakeholders to understand distribution networks and determine the required logistics resources.

2. Logistics Business Processes and Systems

• Develops and implements warehouse and transport business processes and systems solutions.
• Aligns and standardizes business processes and systems solutions, and ensures that these comply with relevant regulations covering food and beverage facilities.
• Performs mapping analysis on business processes and systems considering current and future capability requirements.
• Recommends process and systems improvements to address opportunities to improve efficiency, data availability and quality, and costs.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of current and future logistical processes and systems.

3. Contract and Freight Management

• Builds partnerships with logistics providers and oversees the negotiations with third-party logistics providers to secure the best cost and service for logistical requirements.
• Evaluates performance of third-party logistics providers against service level agreements and recommends improvement plans when necessary.

4. Transport and Fleet Management

• Leads in determining the transport requirements of the company and ensuring the availability and appropriate mix of the required resources.
• Oversees the management of transport facilities, such as maintenance of assets, driver training, etc.

5. Continuous Improvement

• Drives assessment of Logistics processes and systems and identifies opportunities for improving operational and cost efficiencies.
• Leads in the implementation of new processes and systems, and ensures alignment across the organization.

6. Environment, Health, Safety, and Security

• Incorporates environment, health, safety, and security compliance in the planning and implementation of Logistics operations and initiatives.

7. Other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:

1. Degree in Management or Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering or equivalent. License is preferred but not required.
2. At least 3-5 years of experience in the field of Logistics/Supply Chain, preferably in a similar role. Experience in the food & beverage/consumer industry is not required but an advantage.
3. With demonstrated experience in transport sourcing and management, logistics network planning and optimization, and/or business process and systems solutions.
4. Expertise in managing multiple projects with competing priorities and multiple stakeholders.
