Job summary

Bestank Manufacturing Corporation is seeking a Logistics and Warehouse Manager to oversee the delivery of finished goods, optimize routes, monitor schedules, and coordinate with Cebu and Davao teams. You will also manage drivers, review freight transactions, and drive timely KPI and cost reports.

The role covers warehouse control, stock movement, safety measures, and ensuring proper handling, storage, and documentation of merchandise. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of finished goods to customers ensuring proper scheduling and timely delivery.
• Determine optimal delivery routes and schedules to ensure efficiency and compare planned vs actual.
• Monitor status of delivery schedules and address pending deliveries.
• Coordinate with Cebu and Davao Logistics Staff and review freight transactions.
• Manage driver and logistics staff activities and deployments as needed.
• Prepare and submit logistics reports including KPI, truck utilization, and undelivered items.
• Ensure periodic reports such as GPS, cost per trip, and other logistics metrics.
• Oversee warehouse tasks: stock movement, handling and storage, safety, and housekeeping.
• Ensure proper stock receipt, documentation, and safekeeping of returned/damaged items.

• Manage delivery of finished goods to customers to ensure proper scheduling and timely delivery

• Determine the optimal delivery routes and schedules of delivery vehicles to ensure delivery efficiency and effectiveness, compare planned vs. actual

• Monitor the status of delivery schedules and immediately address any pending deliveries

• Coordinate with Cebu and Davao Logistics Staff. Review all their freight transactions before it is carried out.

• Manage driver and logistics staff activities including their deployment to other Department when necessary

• Random check completeness of delivery documents

• Prepare, analyze and submit Logistics Reports especially undelivered items, KPI and Truck Utilization and call
  meeting with concern as necessary.

• Ensure the accomplishment of periodic reports for intended users/shared in documents such as GPS report,
  truck utilization report, cost per trip report, driver deployment report, undelivered item report, truck downtime
  (while on trip) report, etc.

Warehouse Task

• Monitors the use of appropriate forms to document stock movement in compliance with warehouse policies
  and procedures.

• Ensures proper handling & storage of stocks

• Implements safety and security measures against merchandise loss or damage

• Monitors receipt, documentation and safekeeping of Returned items, Damaged merchandise and Pull-Outs

• Ensures proper endorsement and transmittal of merchandise to concerned

• Monitors fast turnover of production raw mats request based on Production Order

• Ascertains good housekeeping in all warehouse sections

• Ensures that all merchandise/ fixtures / collaterals are properly stored in their respective stockrooms

• Implements measures to reduce merchandise losses/damages for improved profitability; increases
  subordinates consciousness on merchandise security

MAIN DUTIES

General Task

• Orients employee on job duties and responsibilities and explain performance and standards.

• Ensures employees’ compliance to Company rules and regulations as well as operational policies and
  procedures

• Ensures that staff are updated on new procedures, products and events

• Motivates employees by providing guidance and counselling through discussion of expectations and
  performance standards

• Evaluates performance of subordinates and suggests appropriate personnel action based on employees’
  growth potential.

• Investigates incidents of violation and prepares corresponding reports

• Encourages staff to participate in employee programs and activities

• Attend weekly Operation's meeting with PM and monthly Operation's meeting with GM (with presentation in
  slides of KPI accomplishments, project accomplishments/status and any outstanding issues needing higher
  authority approval).

• Ensures the accurate preparation and timely submission of required Reports

• Coordinates with the different Divisions/Departments on operational concerns and requirements

• Proposed Plans and yearly budget

Qualifications

• College graduate preferably on Engineering or the equivalent

• At least 5 years experience in Logistics and or Warehousing set up in a Managerial position

• ISO Training, an advantage.

• Training on Logistics and Warehouse management.

• Training on Safety and Distribution management.

• Strong communication skills.

• Strong decision making skills

• Have good analytical skills.
